Holly Oak Chemical, Inc. was the first chemical company in the state of South Carolina to receive the CAA & A 1990 Title V Permit. We have
permitted air scrubbers for formaldehyde and ammonia.

In 1994 we received the SC Center for Waste Minimization Achievement of Excellence.
Holly Oak maintains a wastewater pretreatment permit from Western
Carolina Regional Sewer Authority. In 1997-2001, we were recognized
W.C.R.S.A. as an Environmental Steward.
Holly Oak Chemical has a full time EHS-Manager available to assist
customers with:
·EHS compliance questions, audits and questionnaires from their customers.
·Source for EHS information regarding customer products including
Department of Transportation and Food and Drug Administration.
·Research and authoring of Material Safety Data Sheets. Review
of customer supplied MSDS for compliance with current regulatory standards.
·Determination of proper shipping name per DOT. Determination of
shipping description and freight classification for hazardous and
non-hazardous products.
·Liaison for analytical services such as COD, BOD, TOC, TSS, VOC, etc.
·Updating customers on regulatory changes that may affect their products.
